I started The Cynical Pet when I realized that while pet ownership is beautiful, it's also a bit of a chaotic mess—much like my living room floor. I wanted to create a shop that reflected the real, slightly salty side of living with animals.

I’m inspired by the critters that don't make it onto the pristine, picture-perfect calendars—the ones with actual attitude. My products are for people who love their animals fiercely but also think it's okay to laugh at their absolute absurdity.
